For the longest time, I believed saying no was selfish. But the reality? Saying no is one of the most powerful forms of self-care we can practice. Think about it: toddlers say no on repeat without guilt or shame, and they’re still loved. So why do we, as adults, think we need to justify ourselves or seek permission?
